Elizabeth DiGiose-Jakucionis, a resident of Madison, is a full-time graduate student in the Counselor Education program at Kean University, studying to be a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Previously, she ran her own marketing communications consultancy where she helped clients build their brand through the use of print, broadcast, electronic and social media. Ultimately, she hopes to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and work with clients of varying ages to help them live happy and fulfilled lives. She is the extremely proud mother of Samantha, 19 and Michael, 17 and has been married for 22 years to Charles. Originally from Long Island, NY, Elizabeth is an avid reader, a dog lover and enjoys baking.
Suzanne Monahan is also a resident of Madison. After working for four years at a pharmaceutical company, she decided to change careers and become a teacher. Suzanne enrolled in the ACT 3 program at the College of Saint Elizabeth and received her teaching certificate in 2007. She has been teaching second grade at Van Derveer Elementary School for five years, the last two of which she co-taught in an inclusion classroom. Last year she returned to CSE to seek a masters in Special Education. Upon graduation she plans to apply for a Speech Pathology program with the hope to someday become an elementary speech teacher.
Born and raised in Chicago, Vivian Huang attended Indiana University in Bloomington for her undergraduate studies, majoring in journalism and Chinese. After graduating, she worked and lived in Shanghai and Beijing, China before returning to the United States and moving to Morristown, NJ for a project manager position at a small medical communications company in Madison. Vivian’s experiences working at her parents’ Chinese restaurant when she was younger inspired her to pursue an MBA through Indiana University’s online MBA program, Kelley Direct. Ultimately, she hopes to start her own marketing and communications firm specifically catering to small businesses to help launch or grow their marketing strategies.
